Luka Modrić

Born 1985 in Zadar, Luka Modrić is a professional football player who plays as midfielder for Real Madrid and is the captain of the Croatia national team. Modrić is widely regarded as one of the best midfielders of today and the greatest Croatian footballer of all time. In 2018 he became the only footballer in the world to win the four big golden awards for best player in a single year: World Cup Golden Ball, The Best FIFA Men’s Player award, UEFA Men’s Player of the Year Award, and Ballon d’Or by France Football. He is married to Vanja Modrić and together they have three children.

In October 2019, Luka Modrić announced the publication of his autobiography, published by Hermes.
