Elena Koleva

Elena Koleva is a Bulgarian writer and editor. She graduated in journalism from Sofia University and has over a decade of experience in print media, including as an editor for the magazines Amica, MAX, and L’Europeo. Currently, she is the managing editor at one of Bulgaria’s leading lifestyle media outlets.

Her debut novel The Salt Game was published by Colibri Books and nominated for Bulgaria’s national Peroto Award for Best Debut. The novel blends psychological depth with dystopian imagination, drawing on her longstanding interest in mental health, emotional resilience, and the power of imagination to reshape reality.
