Davor Rostuhar

Davor Rostuhar (Zagreb, 1982), is a Croatian photographer, adventurer and author. Until 2013, he worked as a journalist and photographer for several magazines, such as National Geographic Croatia, Meridijani and Geo. He then decided to dedicate himself to his own projects and founded the Club for Expeditionism and Culture. First among those was Croatia from Above, the biggest photography project in Croatia, in collaboration with National Geographic. From 2007 to 2014, he took photographs of Croatia from the bird’s-eye view and published them as a photobook entitled National Geographic – Croatia from Above, to a great commercial success. The three-year exhibition of the photographs was seen by over two million people in twenty countries. In 2018, Rostuhar set on the first Croatian expedition to the South Pole, becoming one of 26 people in history who walked from the coast of Antarctica to the South Pole, solo, unsupported and unassisted. His journal of that expedition, The Polar Dream, was a big 2018 bestseller. Love Around the World is his last global venture, during which he and his spouse Anđela interviewed 120 couples in 30 countries on all continents.
